Olga Hinojos Najera, 66, of Amarillo died Wednesday, July 2, 2014.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Power Church with Pastor Manny De Lo Santos officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Golden Gate Mortuary, 1416 N. Hughes St.

Olga was born Jan. 12, 1948, in McCamey to Miguel “Mike” and Cruz Hinojos. She enjoyed playing bingo, cleaning her home and helping the homeless. Most of all, she was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to taking care of her family. She loved to cook for them, especially tamales.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mike Hinojos Jr.; and two sisters, Mary Orosco and Priscilla Ontiveros.

Survivors include her husband, Raul Najera Sr. of Amarillo; children, Raul Najera Jr. and wife Joanna of Odessa and Richard Najera and wife Rachelle, Rudy Najera, Rebecca Patino and husband Robert, Rachel Najera and wife Trudy Beery, Ray Najera and wife Heather, Randy Najera and wife Rosemarie of Odessa and Sierra Quintanilla, all of Amarillo; siblings, Elodia Munoz and husband Luis of San Antonio and Israel Hinojos, Hector Jaquez, Alma Linda Jaquez and Ismael Hinjos and wife Sylvia, all of Amarillo; and a sister-in-law, Ida Hinojos of Amarillo; 25 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Ms. Charlie M. McCarty was born November 4, 1948, in Littlefield, Texas, to Mable Moody and Charlie McCarty.

In her early years, she enjoyed serving as a dietary aid and caregiver.  She was very family oriented and love spending special time with her great grand children.  She took pride in serving others.

She was a member of Greater love Temple where she served faithfully.

She is survived by; Daughter; Sharon McCarty of Amarillo, Texas. Son; Quincy McCarty of Amarillo, Texas. Brothers; Leo Harris and wife Mattie of Lubbock, Texas.  Emroy Moody of California.  Jerry Jackson and wife Larnese of Las Vegas, Nevada. Arthur Jackson and wife Bridgette of Atlanta, GA.  Terry Moody of Lubbock, Texas. Sisters; Martha Anderson and husband Joseph of Los Angeles, CA. Loretta McCarty and Ruby Moody both of Lubbock, Texas.  Wilma McCarty of Los Angeles, CA.  Four Grandchildren.  Five Great-grandchildren
