Jessie Anderson, 91, died Monday, March 16, 2015.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Anderson Chapel Sanctuary of Praise with the Rev. Robert L. Graves, pastor, as eulogist. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Golden Gate Mortuary, 1416 N. Hughes St.

Jessie Anderson of Amarillo was born Oct. 25, 1923. She was a member of Anderson Chapel Sanctuary of Praise for more than 20 years. During her life, she mothered 13 children and taught them that with God all things are possible. She was the organist for the church and enjoyed servicing the Lord. She was retired from nursing and enjoyed cooking and taking care of her fish pond.

Survivors include her children, Lorenzo Graves, Robert Graves and Bonnie, Elsa Graves, Charles Graves and Angela, Jerry Graves, and Doris, Donald Graves and Ann, Gene Graves and Vanessa, Arthur Graves and Kerri and Anthony Graves and Angie; and her grandchildren, Antonio Graves, Roy Lamont Graves, Jerome Bowman, Sable Graves, Denise Graves, Melodie Graves, Brandon Graves, Elaine-Graves Vinson, Missy Graves, Junior Graves, J.R. Graves, Jerry Graves, Jr., Sherrie Graves, Stephanie Graves Brorman, Shaquile Graves, Demondres Johnson, Keli Edwards, Kalinda Graves, Kea Edwards, Demarray Graves, Amanda Graves, Hjarien Graves, Faith Graves, Jontrell Graves, LaLa Graves, Andre Graves, Lyricc Graves, Michael Graves, Krystal Souvannakhily, Brittany Graves, Byron Graves and Alicia George.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Bedale Hicks, 63, of Amarillo died Wednesday, March 4, 2015.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Ambassadors Church of God in Christ with Elder S.R. Anderson, pastor, and Elder Gary Thomas as eulogist. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Golden Gate Mortuary, 1416 N. Hughes.

Bedale Hicks was born Dec. 3, 1951, in Goree. She enjoyed singing and loved taking care of senior citizens.

Survivors include her father, Superintendent A.L. Gipson of Amarillo; six brothers, Pastor Robert L. Gipson and wife Mae of Houston, Jerry D. Gipson and Albert L. Gipson Jr. and wife Gwen, all of Dallas, Willie Earl Gipson, Kevin Gipson and wife Wendy and Dexter K. Gipson, all of Amarillo; three sisters, Annie Coleman and husband Charles of Amarillo and Lois Jones and husband D Wayne and Yvonne Bailey and husband James, all of Altus, Okla.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
