Rozlyn Grace Watkins, infant, died Wednesday, July 22, 2015.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, Superintendent E.B. Demserson, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Golden Gate Mortuary, 1416 N. Hughes.

Rozlyn Grace Watkins was born July 8, 2015, to Minister Roddrick and Natalie Watkins. Our little angel was received by God on July 22, 2015.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Roland Anthony Watkins; and grandfather, Curtis Watkins.

Survivors include her parents, Minister Roddrick and Natalie Watkins; her brother, Roddrick Watkins, Jr.; and her grandparents, Superintendent E.B. and Eartha Demerson and Sandra Watkins.

Robert D. Johns

Robert D. Johns

Robert D. Johns, 44, of Amarillo died Monday, July 20, 2015.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop James Mims, pastor, as eulogist and the Rev. Eric J. Mims Sr. officiating. Arrangements are by Golden Gate Mortuary, 1416 N. Hughes St.

Robert Dale Johns was born July 28, 1970. He attended Amarillo Public schools, McClean High School and Tulsa Job Corps, where he received a degree in culinary arts.

Robert worked in food service for more than 22 years until his health failed.

Survivors include his wife, Jenny Johns; five sons, Deondre, Jacob, Tobias, Robert II and Charles Johns, all of Amarillo; three daughters, LA Quita Buxton of Oklahoma and Mya Harvey and April Coble, both of Amarillo; two brothers, Shannador Gaines and Gregory Payne, both of Amarillo; and a sister, Tracy Davis and husband Greg of Dallas.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Samuel Quintana

Samuel Quintana, 59, of Amarillo Died Saturday, June 27,2015.

Arrangements are by Golden Gate Mortuary, 1416 N. Hughes St.

Samuel Quintana, 59, was born April 2, 1956, to Natividad S. Quintana and Benita M. Quintana.  He graduated from Caprock High School and T.S.T.I shoe and boot repair.  He was known as “Shoeshine Sam”.

Survivors are two sons; Andrew and Anthony, four brothers; David, Natt, Johnny, Joe. Grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
