CLINTON, Okla. — Jealden Carr, 81, of Clinton died Saturday, April 1, 2017.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in Clinton with Elijah B. Demerson officiating and Mal Ray Carr as eulogist. Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home of Clinton and local announcement by Golden Gate Mortuary in Amarillo, Texas.
Jealden was a member of True Gospel Christ Holy Sanctified Church. She loved the outdoors, gardening, working with her flowers and Friday Night Red Tornado football.
Survivors include three daughters, Ethel Jean Jones and Joy Renee Cobbins, both of Amarillo, and Norma Gale Mallory of Arlington, Texas; four sons, Richard Allen Carr and wife, Rose of Tulsa and Mal Ray Carr and wife Edith, Herbert Charles Carr and wife Maria and Adrian Dewayne Carr and wife Tyra, all of Amarillo; two sisters Opal Fisher of El Reno and Pauline Johnson of Longview, Texas; a brother, Billy Paul Sanders of Longview; 28 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
The family will greet guest and host a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. today in True Gospel Tabernacle, 801 Glenn Smith Road, in Clinton.
